What is Adjustment Disorder?
Adjustment disorder is a mental disorder that arises in response to a stressful or challenging event or situation. This can include positive or negative events, such as moving to a new city, losing a job, or the death of a loved one.
Symptoms of adjustment disorder can last up to six months after the stressful event occurs.
